Chicken Adobo Simple but Delicious |
Chicken Adobo is originally from Phillipine, Indonesia is close to Phillipine so some Indonesian as well like to cook this chicken recipe, it is very easy to cook chicken Adobo but it is taste amazing. You can serve chicken Adobo with Jasmine rice. Originally chicken Adobo looks so black because they will put a lot of black pepper, also they wouldn't add any vegetables. But I would cook it on my way the chicken Adobo still taste amazing, my partner said he loves it a lot.
Here below the ingredients to cook chicken Adobo :
- 1 kg chicken (I use tight fillet because it is my fav part)
- A bit olive oil
- Chop of onion (shallot) and garlic
- 1/4 tea spoon salt
- Black pepper or crack black pepper
- 3 table spoon soy sauce
- 8 table spoon rice white vinegar
- 2 table spoon sugar
- 1/4 tea spoon corn flour mix with a bit water to thickness
- a bit water if required
- Chop of spring onion for ganish
- Beans and mushroom, you can use another vegetables too
- Chilli *optional

- Put a bit olive oil into the hot pan
- Fried the chicken until brown colour and until crispy enough, don't forget seasoning with salt, then put on the side first
- Reduce the oil, fried the chop of onion and garlic then chicken back in
- Add soy sauce, white rice vinegar, sugar & black pepper
- Lid on about 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cook
- Add chop of vegetables 5-10 minutes before ready
- Add water if required
- Then for thickness add corn starch
- Garnish them with chop of spring onion. Easy and taste amazing!
