Chicken with Kaffir Lime Leaves |
I love chicken and I think everyone eating chicken on their daily life for lunch or dinner menu. I love tight part of the chicken with skin on it because it's taste delicious. Even many peoples don't like to eat the skin because there is contain fat (oil) on the skin. But I think the chicken skin is the best part.
The dinner menu on this article is chicken with kaffir lime, and it is my own recipe, and I guarantee you would love it. This chicken recipe goes so well with Jasmine rice too.
What you need for ingredients :
- Chicken 1kg (I use fillet with skin because I love it)
- 1/2 tea spoon Salt
- 1/4 tea spoon White pepper powder
- 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tea spoon paprika powder
- 3 tb plain yoghurt
- Chop shallot/onion
- Olive oil
- Water *if required
- Fresh kafiar Lime leaves
- Fresh coriander
- Beans
- Chilli if required
- Chop of mushroom and capsicum, I skip this because I don't have these in my fridge, but it would taste a lot better with mushroom & capsicum

How to cook the chicken kaffir lime?
- Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, turmeric, paprika powder, crushed garlic and plain yoghurt, you can place it first in the fridge for few hours if you would
- Fried chop of onion (shallot) & garlic until brown colour
- Then chicken in, don't forget to flip over
- Add Kaffir lime leaves
- Lid on for 5-10 minutes
- Add a bit water, lid on until cook
- Then 5- 10 minutes before serve add the vegetables
- Ready and garnish them with spring onion on top
